Abstract

Teachers and use of media in Learning. Teachers need to use media in learning. The media function as a tool that facilitates teachers and students in the learning process in order to achieve intended learning competence. The learning process with the aid of media can more be interactive, effective, efficient, attractive; moreover, it can arouse students’ learning motivation. The use of media places teachers as mentor or fasilitator for students in learning process. The learning is not teacher-centered but student-centered. By media, classroom activity is not teacher-centered base but student-centered base that fully encourages students to be more active and creative in learning process. Thus, students learn on the basis needs and ability. Media can also be used in early childhood learning to develop cognitive abilities, motor, language, socioemotional, religious and moral as well as art.
